Ability Drive™ is a control interface that enables you to drive and adjust seating on a powered wheelchair with your eyes. How it works
The Ability Drive™ app runs on an approved eye gaze device. The app senses your gaze on virtual buttons which sends directional movement commands to the Ability Drive™ hardware interface. These buttons are overlaid on the forward camera view. Looking at the stop button, looking away from the computer, or closing your eyes stops wheelchair movement. A13J
The A13J is a lightweight alternative drive control you can use with your eyes. This device is designed for people who can no longer use the joystick on their powered wheelchair and do not have a supported eye gaze device. The A13J uses eye gaze technology on a battery powered tablet computer in a protective case with a handle and a standardized mounting interface. The A13J is a device designed to be mounted on a power wheelchair.
APR
Ability Power provides USB Power Delivery to tablets attached to powered wheelchairs from the wheelchair’s batteries. This device is used to charge the A13J off of the power chair’s batteries. The APR only works on RNet based chairs This reduces caregiver burden to keep multiple devices charged.
