Workshop Summary:

One of the tenets of the groundbreaking book “Comprehensive Literacy for All” is ensuring that learners are exposed to many literacy activities through repetition and variety. However, hearing the suggestion to “provide two hours of literacy instruction each day” can overwhelm even the most experienced teacher, therapist, and/or parent. Throughout this presentation, you will analyze, brainstorm, and learn how to provide an extensive number of literacy activities naturally throughout your daily routines and activities. Make-and-take portions provide the opportunity to create materials you can use to infuse literacy into routines and activities at home, school and in the community.
