The School District of Waukesha is a suburban district in Southeastern Wisconsin that serves approximately 14,000 students (Image 1). Students identified as needing special education services make up about 13.5% of the total student population and 13% of these students have assistive technology needs documented in their individualized educational plan (IEP).
