Workshop Summary:

In this workshop, we will explore the basics of 3D printing fabrication, including learning about printers, printing filaments and its applications. We will learn how to find existing 3D adaptation projects on the internet. We will review the basics and apply these skills using a free web based designing platform called Tinkercad. Using Tinkercad, we will practice how to make simple modifications to a design. Participants will learn about the basics of switch adapting and use that knowledge to adapt simple circuit 3D printed devices, construct 3D printed adaptive switches, and fabricate a switch adapted device incorporating the use of a microcontroller.
