The C–Pen Reader 2 is the next generation of reading tools empowering students to improve their literacy skills and independence. This lightweight and portable text–to–speech successor to the award–winning ReaderPen has new AI text recognition, contains an updated set of easily accessible dictionaries, and supports English, Spanish, and French. The Reader 2 stores scanned text in a Library for review at anytime. No Wi–Fi is required to operate, and it has customizable options such as font and reading speed choices — ensuring students can access even complex text. The exam lock function limits function to exam board approved features and is password activated, allowing students to utilize the C–Pen Reader 2 to read exam questions themselves. It is available for use if students’ IEP says “text–to–speech” or “portable text–to–speech”.
